About the Therapist

I am Jenny, the owner of K9 Elements Massage Therapy, providing remedial massage to improve your dog`s quality of life.

Canine Massage is a natural therapy that uses specific, measured strokes to manipulate the soft tissues. Dogs accumulate tension through daily life, which can cause muscular injuries such as strains and trigger points. Massage Therapy helps to resolve these injuries and support dogs that suffer with orthopaedic conditions, whether it is arthritis, luxating patella or cruciate ligament damage. It also helps dogs to recover more quickly-post surgery and can relieve tension

This powerful and versatile therapy provides numerous benefits and you should see an improvement in your dog within 3 sessions. It is suitable for dogs from all walks of life and I work with a wide variety of breeds of all ages.  They may be:
Sporting dogs  - agility, flyball, canicross, racing Greyhounds
Working dogs - police dogs, gundogs, herding
Competitive dogs - breed shows, obedience, heelwork to music
Dogs with orthopaedic conditions, tripawds or recovering from an operation
Beloved pets - senior or active, has an injury or nervous tension

At home, I have an excitable yellow Labrador called Bailey, who loves to play and get into mischief. He loves dogs and people, especially those with treats. We enjoy both flyball and agility, so I am fully aware of the potential injuries a dog can sustain from participating in these sports.

More and more people are recognising the benefit of having remedial massage themselves. Just remember a dog is resilient in nature so will hide its pain and carry on regardless. They are reliant upon you, as the owner, to notice any changes that may indicate that your dog is suffering with a muscular injury. Visit my website to learn more about these signs!

Here at K9 Elements, your dog is in safe hands and my aim is to improve your dog's quality of life.

Testimonials

Caspar – Golden Retriever (3.5 years)

Caspar was not jumping to his full capacity at agility. Jenny had a very calming and relaxing manner with Caspar and was able to complete a full examination, confirming that he had strained some leg and chest muscles. With Jenny’s treatments and advice, Caspar is now back to flying over the fences with his boundless energy and enthusiasm. I would be very happy to recommend her to any of my friends . Thanks again!

Alison

Subi - Labrador (13 years)

Jenny was amazing with my dog, so patient and thorough, going all over the dog's body and massaging the areas that were painful. The days after were delightful for me. Our dog was running in the field and liking life again. We have had more sessions with Jenny and I am always pleased with the result. I would thoroughly recommend Jenny to anyone looking to help their animal find a better quality of life.

Hugo - American Bulldog/Mastiff cross (7 years)

Hugo took to Jenny straight away – she has been brilliant, friendly, relaxed and explained everything. The results are great too - he is more mobile exercising and more comfortable generally. He is also playing again and able to go for longer walks. Good value for money and we will definitely have maintenance sessions in the future. Thanks Jenny much appreciated!
