About the Therapist
My passion is helping dogs to have a healthier, happier quality of life.
I qualified as a Veterinary Nurse in 1994 and have worked in practice as a Registered veterinary Nurse ever since. I have been around dogs all my life and currently have 2 Border Collies who compete at Agility.
I first learnt of Canine Massage when one of my dogs was having performance issues at agility and was amazed at the difference it made to her. I knew then that I wanted to learn more.
I trained for 2 years with Natalie Lenton, an expert in the field of Canine Massage Therapy and owner of the Canine Massage Therapy Centre. I am highly trained in advanced palpation and four disciplines of massage; Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue and Myofascial Release.
I have also studied for 4 years to gain a BSc (Hons) in Acupuncture at the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine and often incorporate the use of Acupressure Points during massage therapy to enhance the body’s response.
