About the Therapist

Claire Wyatt CW Clinical Canine MassageI’m Claire Wyatt of Motion Synergy Chiropractic. I offer treatments for your dog in the comfort of your own home in and around Bristol.

I completed the 2 year practitioner course a number of years ago and am a proud member of the Canine Massage Guild.

I practise the Lenton method which has recently been the subject of research trials, the result of which showed that 95% of dogs had positive outcomes within 1-3 sessions with a Canine Massage Guild practitioner using Natalie’s renowned methods.

I’m a big believer in constant learning and updating of my skills and regularly undertake further training and CPD to ensure I am giving the very best care and treatment that I can give, this includes lymphatic drainage, the Lenton method for the ventral aspect of dogs and facilitated stretch.

Since finishing the course I have also completed a 5 year Master’s degree in human chiropractic with a first class and started an MSc in animal chiropractic.
Take away skills from the Practitioner course include palpation, Swedish massage, deep tissue, sports massage and myofascial release along with the all important Lenton method. Treatments are tailored to your dog’s individual needs after an in-depth consultation so that your dog receives a level of care to match no other.

Massage can identify and help to resolve muscular issues before they become bigger problems and helps to support various orthopaedic conditions.

Dogs are masters at masking their discomfort and pain and I am here to help you to help them. Not only can they benefit physically from massage but their emotional and mental health can be greatly improved too.

Please do contact me to discuss the benefits that your dog could gain from treatment either by telephone or by email.

Your dog is my priority.

Client Comments

Reuben’s mood significantly lifted after his first treatment and he has been happier in himself (after recently losing a life-long companion) as well as being more energetic on walks and around the house. Highly recommend this!

Reuben – Leonberger – (cruciate ligament injury)

I was keen to try canine massage for my Lab to help with his arthritis and joint problems. He is on Yumove and occasionally Inflacam but I do use Golden Paste as a more natural remedy for him. I was very interested to see if the massage would be a benefit to him and if he would actually sit through it. I needn’t have worried because he seems to love it. Claire is very relaxed and calm with him lets him dictate the pace, which is brilliant. For the most part he just lay there and fell asleep! Afterwards he does seem to have more movement in his legs and is definitely less stiff. As an alternative therapy I would definitely recommend it, and Claire.

Bailey – Labrador (elbow dysplasia)

I saw a marked improvement in Cali’s anxiety when visiting the vets. For the first time in 2 years she did not shake on the table! Claire was wonderful and friendly, but above all helped our anxious dog, Cali, to relax and enjoy a good massage that helped release some of the tension she was holding on to. I would thoroughly recommend Claire to anyone looking for a canine massage therapist.

Cali – Cavapoochon (anxiety)

Claire has been wonderful for Tilly. She is kind, calm, and professional and works some kind of magic in getting Tilly to relax for an hour. The treatments have helped with recovery from her latest operation and also the general aches and pains that come with being an older dog. It makes me so happy to see Tilly enjoying Claire’s attention and the therapeutic benefits that come from massage.

Tilly – Collie mix (bilateral TPLO surgery)
