Bramble my 3yr old Cockapoo suffers from hip dysplasia and arthritis. He is unable to weight bear evenly, causing him discomfort which makes him grumpy. After just 3 sessions he was walking much better and appeared far happier. This has been the best treatment for him.
My dog Carla already has a big improvement after only 2 sessions. I can highly recommend Clinical Canine Massage.
My 1 year old rescue poodle, Fern, was diagnosed with grade 1 Luxating Patella. Since starting massage treatment her knees haven’t locked once and I now know surgery isn’t going to be necessary. The Guild therapist was gentle and her kind approach was incredible. I cannot recommend massage therapy highly enough.
Our Staffy-cross Ruby-Rose who is 11 managed to hurt her back left leg, she was limping and not putting it down properly. Ruby had three sessions of canine massage and we were then able to give her the running that she wanted to do again, without the limp! It has now been over three months without any issues, one happy doggie!
For me, canine massage is essential for keeping my dogs fit and healthy. My Massage Therapists knowledge, understanding and approach ensures my dogs are happy throughout the massage and afterwards!
I started canine massage for my dog about 3 years ago as my 9 year old a bit lame. My dog had one session and I’ve never looked back. All 3 of my dogs – Max, Star and Chester – have regular sessions and I feel confident knowing they are benefiting from this treatment. To have a therapist registered with the canine massage guild is invaluable for me and my dogs.
My dogs massage therapist was recommended by a friend as my Sheltie was lame after an agility incident. The Therapist quickly identified the issue and treated my boy even in difficult times! Wouldn’t be without her now! Looking forward to returning ASAP with all 3 dogs!
We have been seeing a guild therapist on a regular basis for a while now, the improvements in both dogs after treatment is amazing, they have better flexibility, speed and drive..My therapist is fantastic with nervous dogs too who I think really benefit mentally as well as physically from a massage.
Gaels massages are for pain relief and are hugely beneficial. Improvements are noticeable after each session & as a result we have been able to reduce her pain medication. Huge thanks to my Massage Therapist!
I took Hugo to a massage therapist upon recommendation and what a recommendation. The therapist picked up a few niggles on Hugo that were causing his lameness and since the 1st session he has barely had any lame moments at all. We’ve had a couple of sessions since and the last one the therapist was very pleased with his progress. These massages are beneficial I’d even say essential for dogs, my therapist is brilliant at what she does. I’ll be back when we can with our new pup. Thanks.
Poppy is a working Labrador who loves agility, she benefits from maintenance massages before, during and after the agility season to keep her on top form and pick up any niggles early to prevent them becoming an issue.
Our massage therapist has been working on Gabriel, our Eurasier, who is 14 and was suffering with stiffness and restricted movement. After 3 treatments he has regained his confidence and is enjoying himself on walks again. It has taken years off him. Thank you.
Ruby is not an easy dog to work on due to her anxiety and over arousal! But after just three sessions the improvement in Ruby’s overall body tension is brilliant, she now has skin that moves when I stroke her! I didn’t realise how rigid she was before.
Barney has both elbow and hip dysplasia along with arthritis. He’s a typical spaniel but massage helps every time and calms him to the point of sleeping. The monthly massages have really benefited Barney.
When your 8yr old rotti with elbow dysplasia can climb trees after squirrels…something’s working.
Our young working cocker was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. He was already being treated with hydrotherapy and we have found that the massage therapy has really helped keeping him mobile and therefore enjoying a great quality of life.
“Five star review from me!
Great and professional service throughout the whole treatment! Selune really enjoyed it and even though she didn’t have any major issues I still noticed a difference in her movements!
Would happily recommend to anyone! “
Ruby had a lipoma removed from her right trunk which resulted in lameness in front right leg and extreme tension in neck and shoulder muscles on the right. After a couple of sessions she is still amazing, very spritely and happy… no limping at all. I just can’t thank you enough!
We have 2 young lurchers who our therapist has been helping with their old injuries. Merlin was very crooked after recovering from a nasty injury resulting from a dog attack. He couldn’t sit straight and was rather lopsided but he is mich better after having treatment. Loki is very nervous if anyone touches his back end, our therapist treated him and found he had very tight muscles and myofascial pain. 3 sessions has helped to relieve all of this and along with his monthly massages he is doing much better.
I retired my Grade 7 dog from agility when she started becoming stressed out at training. My vet later said she was suffering from pain in her hip. After her first session with a Guild Massage Therapist, there was a massive improvement in her. She seems a lot brighter in herself, more active on walks and even managed a few easy bits of agility in the garden. I am absolutely amazed at the difference in her after just one session. With the Therapists help, it’s looking more and more likely that she will be able to return to training – a hope I had long given up on. #agility #lurcher
My two dogs have been seeing Clinical Canine massage therapist for approximately the last two years. I have 10 year old German Shepherd and 4 year old Collie. My GSD gets a massage approximately every 12 weeks and I truly believe this has kept him supple and active coming into his older years. The Massage therapist is brilliant with the dogs, they are always relaxed and comfortable during the massages.
Cooper started seeing our Guild Therapist after he started to become stiff in his back end. Clinical Canine Massage has greatly improved his movement. We go for regular treatments to keep him in top shape. When we rescued him he had a few issues, his treatments have also helped him to release those emotions. I truly believe these sessions have helped him not just physically but emotionally too. #Stiffness #Emotion
One word: WOW! Ernie, our 3-year-old Jack Russell Terrier was showing signs of discomfort in his back. After three sessions of Clinical Canine Massage he was a different dog. We also noticed his anxiety had subsided too.” #jackrussell #anxiety #terrier
Rupert is our 5-year-old Romanian rescue. He suffered a fracture to the same vertebrae twice. He became lame and was uncomfortable when we went to see our Guild Therapist. He is now a lot happier, more mobile and no longer taking painkillers after his sessions of Clinical Canine Massage.” #rescue #lameness #fracture
Discovering the Canine Massage Guild was an absolute god-send for my 12 year old girl. She had arthritis, hip dysplasia and a partially fused spine. Her massages helped enormously and I know she wouldn’t have been able to go on for so long without them. I’m forever grateful to my Guild Therapist for the care she took in looking after my precious girl and for the extra time she gave me with her. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Canine Massage. It’s a gentle, effective therapy, working with your dog’s body to achieve a highly beneficial outcome. #olderdog #arthritis #hipdysplasia
As a veterinary professional, I would encourage anyone to try Clinical Canine Massage. Heidi, my 14-year-old Parsons Terrier, suffers with arthritis, but now she can go on longer walks and is generally a happier dog. Regular maintenance sessions ensure we continue to reap the benefits that Clinical Canine Massage has brought to our much-loved family member.” #terrier #arthritis #olderdog
Shadow, my 11-year-old very-focused Border Collie competes in obedience, which requires a dog to hold a constant position in heelwork. Shadow gets a little stiff at her age and Clinical Canine Massage helps tremendously in freeing up the muscles and our Guild therapist really helps Shadow to relax. #obedience #collie
When we rehomed Kaos, our 10-year-old rescue Boxer, he had a large amount of muscle wastage causing uneven weight bearing, abnormal movement and a lack of drive. Each Clinical Canine Massage treatment was individually tailored to Kaos’s needs. To see the improvement in his walking, running and overall movement in just a short space of time was amazing. #musclewastage
My 12 year Collie cross,Tilly, had bilateral TPLO surgery. Clinical Canine Massage helped with recovery from this as well as the aches and pains that come with being an older dog. I’m so happy to see Tilly enjoying the therapeutic benefits that come from Clinical Canine Massage. #TPLO/#Cruciate ligament surgery #collie #seniordogs
I highly recommend Clinical Canine Massage. Reuben, my 6-year-old Leonberger, had a cruciate ligament repair and suffered the loss of his life-long companion. After the first Clinical Canine Massage treatment his mood lifted significantly and since he has been happier and more energetic both at home and on walks. #cruciateligamentsurgery #grief #happydog #leonberger
Albert, my 6-year-old Jack Russell Terrier, experienced a sudden temporary paralysis of his hind legs. He was unable to stand, had no bowel or bladder control and was extremely cautious of being touched. Each of his Clinical Canine Massage treatments were carried out at his pace to establish a bond of trust. After just four sessions, Albert has come on leaps and bounds. He is now walking, trying to run and holding himself up when having a wee. The love, commitment and knowledge shown by our Guild Therapist was outstanding. I strongly believe that without Clinical Canine Massage Albert wouldn’t be where he is today. #jackrussell #paralysis
Ben, my nervous little 10-year-old IVDD Dachshund was soon put at ease by our Guild therapist. After three treatments his gait, posture and mobility have already significantly improved and friends have noticed a difference too! #IVDD #dachshunds
After just one session of Clinical Canine Massage, Beege, our 11-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier seemed less anxious. She has now stopped reacting to loud or strange noises. Beege was also a little lame on one of her front legs and could not sit without hopping from one leg to another. After three sessions, Beege is no longer doing this. She also appears to be in less pain and is also recovering more quickly from longer walks. #staffie #anxiety #olderdog
Caesar our 11-year-old Springer Spaniel suffered with inconsistent front-limb lameness. Our Guild therapist was hugely caring and professional and our dog’s experience was 100% positive. He is continuing with treatment to maintain his comfort and freedom of movement and so he can continue enjoying his favourite thing in the world – balls!
Kali, my 8-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback received Clinical Canine Massage intermittent limping and our Guild therapist got straight to the problem. Kali now receives Clinical Canine Massage treatment every month to help prevent muscular and back problems. As soon as Kali sees her Clinical Canine Massage therapist, she gets ‘into position’! I’d recommend this therapy to anyone! #rhodesianridgeback #muscleinjury #limping
As a senior dog who likes an active lifestyle (at nearly 14, she still does a bit of agility training) Shevi, our Border Terrier, loves her Clinical Canine Massage sessions. Most recently, massage has helped her overcome severe anxiety brought on by suddenly losing most of her hearing. Thank you for your support. #agilitydog #olderdog #deafdog #borderterrier
Clinical Canine Massage Therapy has helped Logan, our 2-year- old Great Dane immensely since he had his leg amputated. He always has a new lease of life after his massages and moves more freely. #tripaw #greatdane
Max, our 7-year-old Labrador Springer Spaniel cross does everything at top speed – including agility – so he doesn’t look after himself. However, regular sessions of Clinical Canine Massage help him to avoid serious injury and enjoy an active life with better movement. #agilitydog #spaniel
After three sessions of Clinical Canine Massage, our 8-year-old Labrador Cross, Isaac, is now bouncier than ever. He was struggling with a limp and stiffening up after any exercise. Now he looks a lot healthier and he even holds himself like a dog three years younger. #labrador #limping
My 9-month-old Bull Mastiff, Ziggy, received Clinical Canine Massage after hernia surgery which had left him with a large amount of tight scar tissue. Our Guild therapist used special techniques to break down the scar tissue and I couldn’t believe what a difference it made to my boy’s overall movement. #bullmastiff #scartissue
Our elderly dog has both arthritis and muscle wastage but thanks to my Guild therapist’s magic touch, Harvey our Golden Retriever was happy and comfortable enough to enjoy his 13th birthday a couple of days ago! I would wholeheartedly recommend Clinical Canine Massage therapy to anyone. #goldenretriever #oldage
I cannot thank our Clinical Canine Massage Guild therapist enough for how much they helped my boy. He is not an easy dog to do anything ‘hands on’ with at the best of times (the veterinary physio has to have him muzzled), and yet the Guild therapist had great skill in putting dogs at ease and the greatest of patience which has paid dividends. During his first Clinical Canine Massage session following a slipped disc, Hemi, our 6-year-old Labrador actually relaxed enough to snore! Our Guild Therapist has also helped keep my mum’s 14-year-old foster dog mobile. I highly recommend this treatment to anyone. #labrador #slippeddisc
Ruby is our 3-year-old Jack Russell Terrier Cross. She had significant lameness in her hind limb but after three sessions of Clinical Canine Massage Ruby was back to her normal self. Six months on, there has been no further lameness. #jackrussellterrier #lameness
Maggie, our 13-year-old Collie, was suffering with stiffness due to arthritis. Clinical Canine Massage came highly recommended from a very satisfied client. From our first session the difference was apparent, both physical and mentally, giving Maggie a new lease of life. #collie #olderdog #arthritis
Amber had a lovely massage with her Guild Therapist today. Amber is a 12-year-old King Charles who has spondylitis and arthritis. We can really see a difference – even my sceptical husband agrees! #spondylitis #arthritis
Since his Clinical Canine Massage, Maci, our 14-year-old, tri-pawed Romanian rescue, has been full of the joys of spring! It’s great to see him looking so good and no one can believe what a spring he has in his step. He has a new lease of life, thank you so much. #tripaw #rommyrescue #olderdog
The work our Guild therapist has done with Etta is amazing. I highly recommend anyone whose pet is ailing from an injury, to get in touch with their local Guild Therapist to try Clinical Canine Massage. It doesn’t matter if it’s a show dog or a pet, they are our babies and deserve the best of care. #postinjury
Our Labrador Mackeson has spondylosis and a lack of feeling in his back paws due to nerve damage. He has been SO, SO happy today since his treatment of Clinical Canine Massage, it is unbelievable! We went to walk the other dogs and Mackeson RAN across the STONE DRIVEWAY to the van and JUMPED IN! He hasn’t run, jumped or walked across that driveway in months. #labrador #spondylosis
My 3-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier had developed a limp from overcompensating after an injury. After just a few sessions of Clinical Canine Massage his whole body has loosened up, he’s happier and limp free. #postinjury #staffie
Barney, my 2-year-old Cockapoo is one very happy and relaxed doggy! Thank you! Our Guild Therapist has worked wonders on his tight muscles and has also coached me through some canine anatomy and massage techniques that I can do myself. #cockapoo #muscleinjury
I have just started to compete in agility with Tris and Kadar, our Lurchers aged 3 and 4. They are in great condition, but to ensure they stay this way they receive maintenance treatments of Clinical Canine Massage a couple of times a year. I cannot tell you how amazing Clinical Canine Massage is for my dogs. #agilitydogs #lurcher
My Guild therapist deserves a big thank you for being so caring and professional with my 13-year-old lame Australian Shepherd today. She created such a lovely calm environment for him – I could have drifted off!!! #aussieshep #australianshepherd
Clinical Canine Massage has made a huge difference to Milou, our 4-year-old Chihuahua Cross, who is a very active dog and a keen Cani-Cross runner. Milou has a few issues with her pelvis which has caused tightness to the muscles in her back and makes her feel uncomfortable. Following two sessions of Clinical Canine Massage, Milou is enjoying her Cani-Cross runs again and the lovely swing has returned to her back. Thank you. #chihuahua #athleticdog #canicross
Clinical Canine Massage helped Ollie our 6-year-old Standard Poodle after he started limping. He was very relaxed during the session and afterwards, there was no more limping! #standardpoodle
Bella, our Labradoodle, has hip dysplasia but Clinical Canine Massage helps manage her pain and enables her to move more freely. #hipdysplasia #labradoodle
My Guild Therapist is utterly amazing with our 4 year old Lurcher x Collie Cody. He gets a regular massage to help him stay supple. She has also helped him with his jammed hamstrings from all the sprinting! He loves being on the table and is so happy after his treatments. I recommend her to all Cody’s doggy friends!! #lurcher #collie #muscleinjury
Ozzy my Whippet was limping periodically, due to an old injury. Regular sessions of Clinical Canine Massage help to keep his muscles supple and relaxed. He greatly benefits before, during and after the agility season. #agilitydog #whippet
May, our Border Collie started having Clinical Canine Massage Therapy when she was diagnosed with spondylosis at 13-years-old. She now has regular sessions which have helped her enormously and kept her mobile. #spondylosis #bordercollie
Clinical Canine Massage Therapy has been so important to keep Harvey, our 11-year-old Sprocker on the road. He’s crippled with arthritis, but the combination of NSAIDs and massage keeps him happy – and stealing food from my son! #caninearthritis #sprocker #olderdog
My 2 dogs Murphy and Alice both benefit from maintenance massages with our Guild Therapist. They run with us on a regular basis, so these treatments help to keep them supple and reduce the risk of injury. Our Guild Therapist is always supportive and helpful if I have any concerns. Both my dogs love her. #running #injury
Cooper is my 9-year-old very active racing flyball dog. He has a Clinical Canine Massage regularly to ensure he stays in peak condition. Any little niggles are identified quickly before they can become troublesome. Clinical Canine Massage ensures my dogs stay fit and well. Our Guild Therapist always provides them with the very best care. #flyball
When Tasha was 10-years-old she tore her cruciate ligament. This was 4 years ago now. My Guild Therapist worked her magic to help build up muscle tone in her injured leg. She also relieved tightness in muscles in other areas of her body. Tasha is now running about like a pup at 14-years-young. #cruciateligament #injury
Murphy, a 5-year-old ex-racing Greyhound, suffered a serious fractured shoulder and had plates inserted. He was permanently lame and very stiff. After regular Clinical Canine Massage, the change was astounding. The lameness disappeared and his movement was free and easy. He loved going to see his Guild Therapist for his massage, he couldn’t wait to get inside and fall asleep! #rescuegreyhound #fracture
My dogs’ Clinical Canine Massage Guild Therapist is a top practitioner. She always puts my dogs at ease so they get the most out of their Clinical Canine Massage treatments. Her wealth of canine knowledge enables her to identify any issues, both current and potential, which is invaluable and much appreciated. #happydogs
I first brought Sam to see my Guild Therapist when he was 7-years-old. He had started slowing down on walks, and looked a little sad. I thought Clinical Canine Massage would help him to grow old more gracefully. How wrong was I! After three sessions I got a younger version of my dog back, he acted like a 2-year-old puppy again. I would highly recommend Clinical Canine Massage to anyone! Sam is now 13 loves a day out on the trails or hills.
I am a dog walker so Tai, my 3-year-old Lurcher, comes to work with me and gets a lot of exercise, and as a result of playing with the other dogs she picks up a lot of muscular issues!! Clinical Canine Massage is her maintenance. Her Guild Therapist is fantastically patient and Tai loves going to see her. #lurcher
When my Flo was having trouble with her hind leg, I booked her in for a Clinical Canine Massage session. Our Guild Therapist suggested she may have luxating patella, but advised me to go to my vet for diagnosis. It turned out she was correct. She then helped Flo recover from her operation with Clinical Canine Massage. #luxatingpatella
When he first visited our Guild Therapist, JJ was an arthritic 12-year-old Labrador (now nearing 14). He was clearly uncomfortable when exercising, despite painkillers. He has found Clinical Canine Massage extremely beneficial, he has far more freedom in his movement and he absolutely loves the actual massage. #labrador #arthritis
I took Frankie to see our Guild Therapist, after he had undergone stem cell therapy treatment for elbow and hip dysplasia. His Clinical Canine Massage treatments really helped his recovery. He continues to have regular maintenance massages to help keep him mobile and living a fulfilled and active life. We also see our Guild Therapist with Ross, who also underwent stem cell treatment. Clinical Canine Massage Therapy has helped with his recovery and keeps him fit. I would highly recommend this treatment for enhancing your dog’s well being. #elbowdysplasia #hipdysplasia
Our Guild Therapist massaged our ex-racing Greyhound Kevin for 7 years, as he had a number of racing injuries which caused him a lot of discomfort. Kevin loved seeing her as she was so calm and reassuring around him. His mobility always improved after Clinical Canine Massage. The passion of the Guild therapist for her job was clear, and it was always a pleasure spending time chatting with her about how much we loved our dogs. #rescuegreyhound
My 18-year-old Miniature Schnauzer suffers from arthritis. Hector’s tummy can’t tolerate pain medication, so we are really thankful that we came across Clinical Canine Massage! He loves the treatment and afterwards it’s much easier for him to get up after lying down. He relies on his monthly Clinical Canine Massage to keep him comfortable. It’s a must for any old dog who needs a new lease of life! #schnauzer #olderdog #arthritis
I don’t know what you did, but our black Lab has never slept through the postman before. He suffers arthritis due to elbow dysplasia, and he often struggles on his walks, but when he woke up following his first Clinical Canine Massage session he was giddy with excitement and more playful than he’s been for a long time. #Labrador, #Arthritis, #Elbow Dysplasia, #Slowing Down
Daisy, my 11-year-old Collie, had stopped jumping in the car and didn’t want to go for a walk. She was struggling to get up and was really stiff when moving. After a course of three Clinical Canine Massage sessions, I’ve got my dog back! She’s raring to go for a walk, full of enthusiasm, can jump in the car and has even started playing with her toys again which she hasn’t done in years! I would highly recommend Clinical Canine Massage for any older dog, it’s amazing. Thank you! #olderdog #collie
We first came across the Canine Massage Guild at DogFest, Knebworth in May. The team assessed our three dogs and quickly identified that Bruno, our 12 year old Jack Russell had muscle pain in his back. We were advised to start a course of treatment. I must admit I was a little sceptical at first, but how wrong I was! After one session, Bruno was more active and flexible. After the second he was able to keep up with his younger sisters for short bursts. This weekend, after a third session he has charged around with them and is so much happier in himself. Thank you so much!”
My 7 year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel has so far enjoyed three sessions of Clinical Canine Massage. These sessions have made a huge improvement to her movement and comfort. Flo suffers with serious arthritis in all four limbs, this has made her become increasingly reluctant to go for walks. Since her sessions she happily walks three times a day again and she is even initiating play sessions indoors. It is just lovely to see her so much happier and enjoying her life. #spaniel #arthritis
Kyla’s regular Clinical Canine Massage makes the world of difference to her life! At 11 years old (fairly old for a GSD) she is still living life to the full, she enjoys playing ball, chasing squirrels and she still goes training. She comes to work with me and she even helps me to walk other people’s dogs! We no longer have any limping or dragging of her back feet and we can give her lovely back scratches without her shuddering. I would recommend Clinical Canine Massage to anyone with an older dog. Every day I can see what a difference it makes. #GSD #olderdog #lameness
“After the first session I noticed such a difference in Cassie our Border Collie. I sought the help of a Guild Therapist as she was lame, could not sit properly and was tiring on her walks. Cassie also suffers with hip dysplasia in her left hip. After 3 sessions of Clinical Canine Massage Therapy there was a massive difference in her. Cassie was able to walk without any detection of lameness. She was playful and able to participate in longer walks. I would thoroughly recommend this treatment.”
Highly recommended! Ruby is our German Shepherd rescue . She had a very bad start to her life and suffered some horrific injuries to her body, and now that she is around 10 years old, it’s finally catching up with her. She suffers with severe arthritis in her front legs as well as pain in other joints. Clinical Canine Massage is the best recommendation for therapy I’ve had. We’ve had three sessions now and Ruby seems so much happier in herself. She loves the Guild Therapist and really enjoys having her massages. I just wish I had done this sooner! #rescuedog. #gsd #olderdog #arthritis
Oz, our 11-year-old Weimaraner, has arthritis in his spine and hind legs and he was struggling on walks. He was also grinding his teeth a lot. I now know that teeth-grinding is an indicator of pain. After just one session with my local Clinical Canine Massage Guild Therapist he was better on walks and I was able to reduce his pain medication. After his third session Oz was no longer grinding his teeth and seemed happier in himself. Our whole family feels that we have a younger version of our dog back. Oz has even started instigating ‘play’ with us and our other dog Mila. #olderdog #weimaraner
Following Clinical Canine Massage, Henry, our 11-year-old German Short-Haired Pointer, is now probably doing things that he shouldn’t be at his age! Our local Clinical Canine Massage Guild Therapist was both gentle and quiet, firm and thorough throughout Henry’s treatment. She was able to quickly recognise Henry’s areas of discomfort and showed us where he needed the most help. Henry has been more active since, and moves more freely. After only session one we, as a family, were able to feel that Henry’s muscles had relaxed. #pointer #olderdog
Faced with only a few weeks, possibly months, left with Oakley, our 7-year-old Rottweiler, due to his severe arthritis, we cannot believe he has been doing so much better since his first Clinical Canine Massage! He is now wanting to go for longer walks and has been improving every day since. We are not rushing things but he is doing so well, thank you! Six months later, with regular Clinical Canine Massage, Oakley is still able to enjoy his walks and his good days exceed the bad ones. #rottweiler #rottie #arthritis
“Your Clinical Canine Massage sessions were a real help to Yogi our 11 year old GSD, in relieving his arthritis. He always felt so much better afterwards, and was much freer in his movement. It was lovely to see him so relaxed and just having some special attention, just for him.”
My 8-year-old Labrador, Rory, had a persistent limp. The vet couldn’t diagnose it accurately and the usual ‘cover all’ anti-inflammatories didn’t work. After hearing good reviews of Clinical Canine Massage from other owners, we decided to give it a try and following just two sessions, Rory hasn’t looked back and seems so much more comfortable, especially after a long walk. The Guild therapist also gave some very good tips on how to look after his muscular wellbeing. #labrador #lameness
We love what Clinical Canine Massage Guild therapists do for our dogs. It is quite fascinating watching you work. Something doesn’t seem quite right with a dog – but you find it, release it, sort it, job done. These dogs do go through so much and give so much, living life to the full. I took Woody for a first assessment and after seeing the results, have ended up taking all our spaniels. Great work. Great results. Your dog is worth it. Long may Clinical Canine Massage therapists continue this life-changing work. #spaniel
Not only has our Guild Therapist massaged one of my dogs but she’s massaged all three. They all thoroughly love their time with her. She is reliable, thorough and knowledgeable. Her skilled hands have allowed my dogs to perform at their best winning local, national and international sled dog races throughout Europe and beyond.”
Greyhounds, 9-year-old Jam and 10-year-old Bolt have both been treated with Clinical Canine Massage. Since then, Jam has been a week without needing pain relief and Bolt hasn’t had pain relief for two weeks. Both are happy, eating well and enjoying their gentle walks again. I can highly recommend this treatment to anyone that has an ageing Greyhound. Make an appointment today to see your local Guild Therapist, it really does help! #olderdog #greyhound
My older dog, Rupert, a 9-year-old GSD Cross was slowing down and occasionally needed pain medication. After just one session of Clinical Canine Massage the difference in him was huge. I could clearly see he was more comfortable. Two years on, Clinical Canine Massage is an essential part of his life!”
#gsd #olderdog
Benson, our big soft Chocolate Labrador was 12 on his first visit to our Guild therapist. He was getting stiffer and more depressed by the day after losing his sister, Holly, to liver cancer. After a course of Clinical Canine Massage we saw a real improvement in his movement and overall mood. Six months on, having turned 13 years old, it is great to see his excitement when he sees his Guild Therapist arrive at the front door. He happily leads the way to his ‘massage room’. He is now off all anti-inflammatories and painkillers (the only options offered by the vets) and enjoys his morning walk and amazingly keeps up with our 2-year-old for a good 40 minutes or more. We are delighted! #labrador #olderdog #bereavement
My gorgeous 11.5-year-old boy, Harvey, went into the clinic looking his age. After just 2 sessions of Canine Massage Therapy he is now like a puppy. He’s more active and instead of avoiding other dogs, he instigates play! I just wish that I knew about Clinical Canine Massage years ago! I cannot thank you enough!” #olderdog
My Lurcher, 5 year-old Sapphie, has spent most of her adult life hopping due to multiple problems with her hindleg and paw. Three vets have said there is nothing more they can do for her and progress has now plateaued with physio and hydro. Keen to try Clinical Canine Massage to see if that helped, I’m really pleased with the progress. The day after her first treatment with our Guild Therapist she started using the leg more, especially on walks. I have now extended our morning walking time and it doesn’t seem to have done any harm. #lurcher #muscularinjury
I am very pleased with Clinical Canine Massage. Our Guild Therapist is friendly and professional, very calm and always in control even though my dog, a 9-year-old, Husky Cross, isn’t the most compliant of patients! I loved the Therapist’s kind confidence in handling my over-the-top crazy dog! From a results perspective all I can say is: WOW! After two sessions my dog is much more mobile and fluent in her movement! I finally feel confident in letting her off the lead again for a run around, without worrying she may be too stiff or lame afterwards. Thank you. #husky #olderdog #lameness
I saw my Guild Therapist with my 11-year-old Greyhound,Tazz. After just two sessions his gait is more relaxed, he runs and plays in the garden and he seems so much happier in himself. Clinical Canine Massage brings back his sparkle, instead of just numbing the pain like meds.” #greyhound #olderdog
My 3.5-year-old Cavapoo was showing signs of being uncomfortable when moving: stiff when walking and avoiding play with other dogs. After one Clinical Canine Massage treatment with our Guild Therapist he was almost smiling as he zoomed around the room! He holds his head higher and no longer has a robotic stiffness when he walks. Following his second treatment he’s been like a puppy again, charging around and engaging in play with his friends instead of ‘protecting’ himself when near to other dogs. I can’t thank you enough, Clinical Canine Massage has really transformed his quality of life. #cavapoo #stiffness
When my 9-year-old Terrier Cross, Lady, was hit by a child riding his scooter into her rear, she was in pain and limping. She very much enjoyed the calm and patient energy that the Clinical Canine Massage Guild therapist brought to the table. After two Clinical Canine Massage treatments, Lady was up and running around. The Guild Therapist is very knowledgeable and offered me many insights. #terrier #muscularinjury #limping
When my G6 Border Collie, Piper, wasn’t running at his normal speed, I thought it would be a good idea to take him to be checked by a Guild Therapist to see if there was maybe something wrong that I couldn’t see. I was very impressed with her knowledge, so much so that we enjoyed regular maintenance Clinical Canine Massage sessions every few months to keep Piper in tip-top condition. He’s now 9 years old and retired from agility, but he’ll continue to see his Guild Therapist, as I trust her judgement and skills (plus Piper adores her) #agility #collie
I took my 12-and-a-half-year-old Collie Cross, Bailey, to see my Guild Therapist after his joints appeared stiff due to arthritis. I was surprised at how calm my usually energetic dog was with her and how patient she was with him. After just one session I was shocked at the improvement in his mobility and range of movement. I would 100% recommend Canine Massage. #collie #olderdog #stiffness #arthritis
After reading an article titled “Arthritis in Old Dogs Doesn’t Have to Be a Death Sentence” I contacted my Guild Therapist for my elderly arthritic Spaniel Spud. After 3 sessions of Clinical Canine Massage Spud had a new lease of life. He was able to stop most of his medication and his quality of life in his last 6 months was the best it could be. I now take my other dogs for treatments. #spaniel #arthritis
After showing some behavioural changes, we took our 4-year-old, Northern Inuit, Bourbon, to visit our Clinical Canine Massage Guild Therapist. She immediately found trigger points down his spine and tightening across his ribs. Bourbon wasn’t very settled on our first visit, but she made some progress and gave me some tips to continue at home. On our second visit Bourbon was so chilled and relaxed he nodded off whilst she worked on him. I very much appreciated the time given to us and to help our boy. Thank you. #northerninuit #muscularinjury #stiffness
Jessie, our Border Collie, has been seeing a Guild Therapist and receiving regular Clinical Canine Massage treatments for 3.5 years. It has helped her tremendously with her movement and enabled me to keep her off NSAIDs. Jessie is now 16.5 years old, and I am certain that her regular massages have played an important part in her reaching this age. #collie #olderdog
I found my Guild Therapist very relaxed and confident with our Border Terrier, Scruff. We were told that he was 8-9 years old when we rescued him 8 months ago. Scruff is a happy dog and has settled in with us well but has experienced some rough handling in his past and is very tense. Within two Clinical Canine Massage treatments Scruff has become more versatile and is much more relaxed. Scruff will continue maintenance treatments and we have now booked in our other Border Terrier too. #terrier #rescuedog #anxiety
Send us your own testimonial?
We’d love to add your experience to our growing list of happy dogs.
Why don’t you send us your testimonial including your dog’s name, age and breed.
To add credibility to your account it is helpful if we can add your name and town/area, but this is not essential.
A fab pic of your dog also encourages people to stop and read so if you could include one we’d love to be able use that too.
