About the therapist
Hi, I’m Kirsty! I live in Wiltshire with my husband, two children, and our wonderful extended family—of two dogs, Lupo and Thabo, six chickens and Lenny our African fat-tailed gecko.
Building trust and providing compassionate care is at the heart of everything I do. I want every dog to feel safe, comfortable, and supported throughout their treatment with me. I am fully insured and have completed two years of intensive training with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre. My approach integrates four key massage disciplines—Swedish, deep tissue, sports and the Lenton Method®- a set of direct myofascial release techniques—to provide targeted, effective therapy. By combining gait analysis, advanced palpation techniques, and detailed body mapping, I create bespoke treatment plans tailored to each dog’s specific needs.
Just like us, dogs can suffer from aches, pains, and stiffness due to injury, illness, ageing, stress, or the demands of everyday life. Canine Massage Therapy is a non-invasive complementary treatment that aids in rehabilitating soft tissue injuries and managing chronic pain associated with orthopaedic conditions such as Hip & Elbow Dysplasia, Arthritis, and Spondylosis. By identifying areas of overcompensation, massage therapy helps restore normal fascial tension, relieving both pain and stiffness whilst improving mobility. It can also be a valuable tool for dogs experiencing anxiety, grief, or depression due to the release of endorphins, helping them feel more balanced and at ease, enhancing their overall quality of life.
Clinical trials published in Vet Record show that 95% of dogs respond positively, with visible improvements within just 1–3 sessions.

Kirsty was absolutely brilliant with Nando and you could see how much she cared about dogs in general, her enthusiasm shone through. She very quickly bonded with Nando in a way that I haven’t seen him do with strangers before, although he’s always been friendly, it was unusual to see him settle down so quickly for a relaxing massage. Since having the treatments with Kirsty, he seems more “with it”, his gait has improved and he is a little more lively now. Nando’s physio at the vets have been delighted with the progress he has made during the treatments, commenting that he is much more comfortable and that they can see a real difference.
