About the Therapist
Dogs have always played a big part in my life and my love of dogs and the desire to help them led me to complete the Canine Massage Practitioner Course with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre.
My clinic is based in the Nottingham and I can offer a mobile service in this area treating dogs in their own homes. I work with all sorts of dogs of all ages whether they are pets, working/sporting dogs, senior dogs. I help to rehabilitate soft tissue injuries commonly seen as lameness as well as supporting orthopaedic conditions such as arthritis and hip/elbow dysplasia and dogs with neurological conditions. It is a non-invasive, natural form of pain relief which can relieve discomfort, improve mobility and promote psychological well-being.
I compete in agility with my German Wirehaired pointer, Beefy and we qualified for the finals of the Starter Cup at Discover Dogs held at ExCel in London. I also take part in canicross, leading several groups in our local area. I also participate in scent work and have taken several courses in canine conditioning, canine behaviour, T-touch, nutrition and dog training. Quite simply I love dogs.

After the first session I noticed such a difference in Cassie. She came to Lisa lame and could not sit properly. After all 3 sessions there was such a difference, Cassie was able to walk, without any detection of lameness. She was playful and was able to participate in longer walks. Thoroughly recommend Lisa.

Lisa has been very patient in winning the trust of Kiyo. When Kiyo first started his massage treatment he was a very unwilling patient. Lisa was so respectful of his space and they have now created a great bond during his massage treatment for hip dysplasia. Lisa has worked hard to understand his issues and help him in his recovery. Lisa has been amazing with Elsie, who is the most excitable dog ever, and I did not think for one moment that she would be able to relax. Lisa took her time and was extremely patient. Lisa found a strain in Elsie’s pectoral muscle which was an old injury that I had forgotten about. Elsie will definitely be having pre and post sessions to her canicross season again.
