Benson, our big soft Chocolate Labrador was 12 on his first visit to our Guild therapist. He was getting stiffer and more depressed by the day after losing his sister, Holly, to liver cancer. After a course of Clinical Canine Massage we saw a real improvement in his movement and overall mood. Six months on, having turned 13 years old, it is great to see his excitement when he sees his Guild Therapist arrive at the front door. He happily leads the way to his ‘massage room’. He is now off all anti-inflammatories and painkillers (the only options offered by the vets) and enjoys his morning walk and amazingly keeps up with our 2-year-old for a good 40 minutes or more.
