About the Therapist
Hi, my name is Andrea and I am the proud owner of A Loyal Friend Canine Massage Therapy.
I currently have three dogs, two elderly Labradors, both retired due to arthritis and spondylosis, and a young German Shepherd that I train and hope to compete with in Hoopers, Rally and UK Dog Sport.
I attended a 1-day workshop on canine massage therapy with Natalie Lenton many years ago and really enjoyed the experience and the difference it made to my dog. He has been receiving regular treatments from a K9 Massage Guild member for a long time now and seeing the difference in him is what made me want to learn more about K9 massage so I applied for the 2-year Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner Programme.
Having completed over 1200 hours of learning and training, I am now a very proud member of the Canine Massage Guild. I specialise in four disciplines of Clinical Canine Massage, Swedish, sports, deep tissue and myofascial release, the Lenton Method™, through a direct and indirect approach.

Ralph was stiff in his front legs, and resting his right hind, not fully weight bearing at rest and tight through his lumbar spine. He is now much freer in his movement on all four legs and is fully weight bearing on his hind leg. Thank you for helping him, he feels so much better and is much happier.

Maisey is jumping up and bouncing again, she has not been able to do this in years. She is much better on walks, keeping up with the other dogs and having a little run around and looking much more confortable.
