About the therapist
A warm Welcome to you and your dogs, my name is Anne, and I run Grayswood Clinical Canine Massage Therapy, based in the Surrey Hills.
I perform canine massage therapy in the comfort of your own home where your dog is most at ease.
I have worked in the veterinary industry for twenty years and am dedicated to the wellbeing of all dogs. Dogs have been a constant throughout my life, and I have experience of a range of orthopaedic issues with my own dogs and fully appreciate the difficulties and dilemmas faced by you in managing their conditions.
I use the disciplines of Swedish, sports, and deep tissue massage alongside Myofascial Release to address underlying soft tissue injuries incurred as a consequence of activities of daily living, sporting activity or resulting from underlying skeletal issues.
Canine massage is particularly beneficial for supporting dogs with progressive degenerative joint disease such as arthritis, where it helps to improve flexibility and elasticity of the supporting soft tissues, treating areas of overcompensation, and helping to manage their chronic pain.
The aim of the sessions is to enhance your dog’s range of motion and mobility, helping to manage their pain, thereby improving your dog’s overall comfort levels and quality of life. Massage Therapy is both non-invasive and holistic so suitable for all dogs, (subject to veterinary consent).
A background in chemistry I trained for two years with Natalie Lenton and her tutors at the distinguished Canine Massage Therapy Centre, following the Clinical Canine Practitioners programme and apply this knowledge to all of my clients.
I am a member of the Massage Guild and am dedicated to continued personal development in my field to further benefit those dogs whom I am lucky enough to work with.
If you would like to discuss any issues related to canine massage and your dog please do not hesitate to contact me I will be only too happy to help.

Client comments
Anne was amazing, and was incredibly patient calm and caring, she was great at gaining trust from Bonnie. I did notice that Bonnie’s limp was not as pronounced after the sessions by comparison to before treatment.
Bonnie – Cocker Spaniel with arthritis of the elbows
Anne handled Bowie with complete care and devotion, 100% respectful of his current spinal issues and I trusted her completely, so did he, after the year he’s had with constant surgeries this is credit to Anne to win him over.
Since having his sessions with Anne I have seen a remarkable improvement in Bowie’s mobility, fluidity, and general well-being.
Bowie -Dachshund IVDD
I was worried about Nelson as he has started to look sad and had started groaning as he laid down and stretched- I cancelled the vet appointment I had made after his initial session as he was so much happier- I’ve noticed he is stronger in both of his hind legs.
Nelson -senior large crossbred
Before Murphy was limping quite a lot and generally stiff. After the treatments he was moving more easily, and his mood was improved.
Murphy- Labrador elbow arthritis
