About the Therapist
I’m Cassandra, a Clinical Canine Massage Therapist and founder of Restore K9. My work brings together 25 years of NHS clinical experience working as a Podiatrist, with extensive knowledge of anatomy, physiology, biomechanics, injury patterns and rehabilitation in humans, with a deep love of dogs and a commitment to helping them move with comfort and confidence.
I support dogs recovering from injury, preparing for or healing after surgery and those living with painful chronic conditions such as osteoarthritis, hip dysplasia, and Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD). My approach is hands on, evidence informed and always dog‑led, focusing on restoring soft‑tissue function, reducing discomfort, and improving and maintaining mobility.
For dogs who are anxious or who have experienced emotional or physical trauma, clinical massage can help to release long-held tension patterns, support emotional regulation, build trust and help them to feel safe and more confident.
I work collaboratively with you and other canine therapists, with consent from your Vet. This is both to comply with the law, as well as to ensure that massage therapy is suitable for your dog and ensures every dog I treat receives joined‑up, holistic care.
Helping dogs feel good in their bodies again is a privilege, and it’s at the heart of everything I do at Restore K9.

Paddy is in good shape. His gait continued to improve steadily after his treatments and he hasn’t shown any stiffness in his movements since, even after some long, cold, muddy picking up days this Winter.

Cassandra was fantastic with Lilly, took her time and gained her trust. After three sessions Lilly seemed to have a lot more energy, she wanted to engage in play and fetch her ball again. She stopped shuffling and wanted to walk more.

Cassandra was brilliant with Barney; he is a nervous dog and takes time to settle but he warmed to her almost immediately. After treatment he has become more playful, he is moving more freely and getting up and down stairs with more confidence and control.
