About the Therapist
My name is Jaynee Cano Miserachs and I live in Bingley, West Yorkshire with my husband, 2 children and 3 dogs – Pablo, Oro and George. I have been blessed to have dogs with me my whole life, and witnessed first hand the benefits that Clinical Canine Massage can give to a dog’s life. My dog Ralph was a senior dog with Arthritis, and I was astonished with the improvements he made after 3 sessions. He wanted to go out on walks and play with his toys again, and could climb back up on the sofa. He also started interacting with the family again and was so much happier in himself.
I am passionate about Clinical Canine Massage as a complementary therapy as it treats dogs holistically and looks not only at the presenting issue, but also other contributing factors such as environment, diet and physical well being. I am fascinated how the different systems of the body work together, and how a dysfunction in one can lead to dysfunction in others. Canine Massage is suitable for a whole range of dogs and works on easing pain, improving muscular issues and mobility, as well as soothing the nervous system, helping to relieve stress and anxiety, releasing endorphins, and giving dogs the ‘feel good factor’.
I specialise in treating dogs with a range of issues including soft tissue injuries such as sprains or strains, and orthopaedic conditions including arthritis, hip and elbow dysplasia, luxating patella and spondylosis. All treatments are unique to your dog to address their specific needs, and I will use a mix of Swedish, Deep Tissue and Sport Massage, and Myofascial release techniques. I studied for 2 years to become a Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner and have completed over 1200 hours of learning with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre, which has given me a thorough understanding of Anatomy, Physiology, Body Language and practical hands on experience.

Bear is my 9yr old GSD x Border Collie. He suffers from what started out as cruciate knee problem, leading to arthritis and onset of hip dysplasia . Jaynee applied massage treatment on Bear to support with his declining mobility due to sore and painful joints. Jaynee’s calming nature and unique ability to communicate, observe and create a connection with Bear based on understanding and trust was truly amazing. She quickly bonded with Bear, leading to mutual respect between them during the massage therapy. Jaynee was able to read Bear’s body language throughout, she listened to what he was communicating to her thus enabling her to work on the painful areas at his pace. The results of the massage showed Improvements to Bear’s mobility, circulation, and eased his painful joints. I highly recommend Jaynee.

We’ve an elderly Golden Retriever, aged 13 with arthritis in most joints and a rather wobbly walk, due to a previous inner ear infection. Jaynee gave her 3 massages using a variety of techniques. Her calm manner meant that Freya was very relaxed and receptive to the massages. We saw a marked improvement in her mobility after the sessions. It was so good to see her steadier on her feet & to speed up on her walks. We’d not seen her do it for a while, but she once again would (briefly) attempt to bounce about like a little pup, running ahead of us before plonking herself on her back with a satisfied grin, begging for a tummy rub. We’re certainly glad to have tried canine massage on our dog and can’t recommend Jaynee highly enough.

We had 3 sessions with Jaynee and our 7 year old Frenchie, Daisy, who we think was experiencing pain in her back. Jaynee was lovely and professional and got to know Daisy and went at Daisy’s pace. Following the massages, Daisy’s mobility definitely increased, she was faster, happier and more willing to walk/leave the house. We could tell she was in less pain. I’d highly recommend using Jaynee’s service if your fur baby is struggling.
