About the therapist
Hi, my name is Lesley, and I run Suffolk K9 Bodyworks.
I offer Clinical Canine Massage Therapy for Dogs of all shapes, breeds, and sizes, treating a range of issues from soft tissue and muscular injuries, to supporting conditions like Arthritis and Hip Dysplasia, to looking after the athletic bodies of the working dogs, keeping them in tip top condition so they are able to perform at their best. Our natural therapy can also be beneficial to rescue dogs and those that suffer with anxiety, improving social and emotional health.
I knew my passion was to work with Dogs and I saw an opportunity to help these amazing animals by completing the 2-year Clinical Canine Massage Programme. It really was the best thing I have ever achieved. Combining my love of Dogs, with massage and wellbeing. This therapy really can give dogs a new lease of life and I have seen first hand the difference it can make.
When I am not surrounding myself with dogs, I enjoy competing in OCR (obstacle course racing) and Adventure racing

£40 per treatment
Client Comments
Buster is more mobile and moves with much more ease after his massages. He genuinely seems brighter and more positive straight after and the next day.
Rachel – Owner of Buster, a Springer Spaniel
Holly has changed so much. We first noticed a change when she used the stairs, she was less awkward, and her feet were more coordinated. She has gone from ‘lolloping’ to running. When she is on her walks, she is leaving our sides to investigate further away and enjoying herself more. Her body seems to be longer and less hunched. This, in turn, has made her a happier dog. Simply amazing!
Nicola – Owner of Holly, a Cockapoo
Adding massage to Bernard’s routine has made incremental improvements in how movement, exactly as I hoped. His rear end engagement is better and the degradation in between sessions is noticeably less. The muscle improvement is allowing his strength training to be more effective so giving an overall long-term benefit.
Melanie – Owner of Bernard, a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever (Toller)
