About the Therapist
Hello, my name is Lindsay Cope and I am the owner of Paw Vida Holistic Therapies. I live in central Bristol and work on a mobile basis, offering Canine Massage to your dog/s in the comfort of their own homes. I cover Bristol, South Gloucestershire, Chew Valley, and Bath as well as the surrounding towns and villages.
I have worked with dogs for many years and have a specialist interest in pain-driven behavioural and performance changes. After witnessing the remarkable results of Clinical Canine Massage with my own dog, I completed the Practitioner Programme back in 2015. Prior to this, I obtained a degree in Psychology from the University of Manchester, qualified as a Companion Animal Behaviourist, and a Certified Veterinary Thermographer, which helps to identify underlying injuries and pain.
I’m also a qualified Clinical Massage Therapist for people and my clients often take advantage of this, booking in family sessions for both the four- and two-legged members of the household!
I’m very passionate about my work and am 100% committed to enhancing the health and happiness of your dog. Whether you’re looking for improved mobility or performance, better pain management, or simply an enhanced quality of life for your dog, I’ll endeavour to work closely with you to achieve your goals.
I also have a keen interest in a wide range of natural and holistic healthcare options, from raw feeding through to homeopathy, and will always approach the care of your dog holistically, considering all aspects of lifestyle and activities of daily living to ensure your dog achieves the best results from their Canine Massage Therapy.
My beloved black Labrador and inspiration, Lexi, lived to the grand old age of 15. Right up until the very end, Lexi was still regularly walking and trotting 2-3 miles daily as well as playing football and I attribute this long, happy and active life to a combination of utilising a range of different complementary therapies and holistic healthcare choices throughout her life.
If you’d like to find out more about how I may be able to help your dog, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via the contact details above.

Testimonials
Sally had been diagnosed with a suspected cruciate ligament injury and had been suffering with lameness for several months. Lindsay came recommended by the hydrotherapist working with Sally and after just two sessions, I couldn’t believe the difference in Sally. There had been a surprising improvement in her mobility and I also noticed that her mood had lifted and she seemed happier in herself. There was also a notable change by her hydrotherapist who was also very pleased with the results! I will definitely be booking Sally in for further massage with Lindsay!
Nicola, Ammerdown.
I first came across Canine Massage after my Border Terrier unusually started to knock jumps at agility and seemed reluctant to jump onto the sofa and into the car. After just three sessions of massage with Lindsay, not only was Frank more willing to jump onto the sofa and into the car again, on his return to agility he demonstrated more speed and athleticism, a cleaner and more careful jumping technique, improved focus, quicker execution of the weaves, and tighter turns!
Sam, Paulton.
Lindsay came to massage both of my dogs and handled them very respectfully, responsibly and professionally throughout. After the massage, Ollie seemed even more relaxed than usual (if that’s possible!) and generally had more of a spring in his step whilst Dexter was less stiff, more fluid in his movement and generally more relaxed.
Ali, Holcombe.
Following bilateral cruciate repair surgery as a youngster, Dominic had always suffered with a lot of muscular tension through his lower back. I was very interested and keen to see how he would respond to massage and after three sessions, I noticed some great results! He was more supple and relaxed and didn’t feel the need to stretch his back out as he so often would before.
Sophie, Radstock.
