About the Therapist

Rose Canine Massage - LucyI’m Lucy, owner of Rose Canine Massage based in Chiswick, West London. I offer home Clinical Canine Massage sessions throughout Central and West London.

My passion for dogs comes from a lifetime of growing up around them. My interest in Clinical Canine Massage started seven years ago when I was looking for treatment options to help my sister’s 13-year-old cockapoo, Milly, who was suffering mobility issues. I trained for two years at the Canine Massage Therapy Centre, completing the Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner Programme. My studies included canine anatomy, physiology, the Lenton Method® and over 50 techniques.

Clinical Canine Massage is a non-invasive complementary therapy that helps rehabilitate soft tissue injuries and support chronic pain management for orthopaedic conditions such as arthritis, hip dysplasia and elbow dysplasia. If your dog experiencing anxiety, stiffness, performance problems or recovering from surgery or injury clinical canine massage is a proven and effective way to address these issues.

Each treatment plan is bespoke and tailored to your dog’s idividual needs. I use a range of techniques, including gait and postural analysis, palpation, advanced body mapping, and four disciplines of canine massage: Swedish massage, Deep tissue massage, Sports massage and Myofascial release. As well as the clinically trialled Lenton Method® (a set of direct myofascial release techniques).

By identifying areas of overcompensation, clinical canine massage can help restore your dog’s normal muscle tension, alleviate pain, and enhance mobility. This helps your dog to move more freely and comfortably, improving their overall quality of life.

To arrange an appointment or learn more about how Clinical Canine Massage may help your dog, please email or call Rose Canine Massage.
