About the Therapist:
My name is Rachael and I live in North Aberdeenshire with my old retired guide dog, Daisy.
It was Daisy, and a need for a career change, which led me to train as a canine massage therapist. As a guide dog Daisy was constantly stressed, under stimulated and under exercised. This has really taken its toll on her ageing body. Massage has given Daisy and I better understanding of each other; it has given her permission to tell me how she feels and has shown her how to calm down and relax. Daisy is now 12 and has only just decided to stop agility lessons. Take her to one of the large local sandy beaches and she will prove that she can still run with the young dogs!
Seeing how even just one session can brighten the eyes of these amazing creatures constantly gives me such joy.
