About the Author
Hello my name is Rebecca Cummins and I am the proud owner of North Cornwall Canine Massage based in Bude.
I work on a mobile basis visiting dogs within the comfort of their own homes. I am a Registered Veterinary Nurse, Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner and a member of the Canine Massage Guild.
I first became interested in the muscular health of the dog after performing minor surgeries in my role as a veterinary nurse. I had noticed that there were sometimes limited options to help dogs who were suffering from painful orthopaedic conditions, following surgery or those who had sustained a soft tissue injury. From here I went on to complete a two year course with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre with the hope of being able to improve the quality of life for the many dogs I see in practice.
I perform a gait and posture analysis and utilise a variety of hands-on techniques to improve the overall muscular health for dogs of all ages and abilities.
I am very passionate about canine massage and with my calm approach and working closely with you and your dog I can help ease pain and stiffness, improve mobility, reduce stress and anxiety and many other fantastic results.
It is such a reward hearing from my clients about the positive impact clinical canine massage has made for their dogs.
