About the therapist

Roslin ForderMy name is Roz and I run Wirral Canine Care, based on the Wirral and surrounding areas. My background is in science and Microbiology, however my passion has always been for helping dogs physically and emotionally live their best lives. I have fostered a number of dogs over the years and have been involved with several re-homing charities.

I have seen how much of an impact Clinical Canine Massage can have on the wellbeing of our dog companions, and my aim is to bring a better quality of life to the dogs and their owners who reach out to me. I consider myself very privileged to now be working in this field, and I have been taught by the best at the Clinical Canine Massage Therapy Centre.

I am fully insured and undergo continuous professional development to ensure I am always aware of the most current and relevant therapies. As your dog’s therapist, I am on the recovery journey with you. I know that every client’s needs are different, and my sessions, advice and follow up with your dog will always be specific to your pet.

If after three sessions you don’t start to see the spring back in your dog’s step, I will always refer you to other specialists and discuss alternative options. I love to talk about what I do, so if you have any questions or simply want to book in for an assessment, please get in touch.

Costs

Initial assessment is £40 and involves gait analysis, a thorough review of your dog’s day to day life and a full palpation.
Follow up sessions are £30 and normally involve a full massage session and discussion as to your dog’s progress along with further advice if required.

Client Comments

Dozer genuinely loved his sessions with Roz, who just has a great knack with dogs. He was super excited at first but she settled him brilliantly. We saw improvements in his hips even after the first session.

Chamie loved her sessions with Roz. Her approach and treatment were fantastic. She was calm, kind and professional. Chamie is now able to walk for longer and can also get back up on my bed!

Mitzi’s mood and energy levels improved after each session. We are now also able to touch her back legs, which due to various conditions, she has not let us do in the past.
