About the therapist
Shanice specialises in treating dogs with a range of issues including arthritis, soft tissue injuries, post-surgery care, sports performance issues, hip / elbow dysplasia, luxating patella and other orthopaedic condition support.
She lives with her 5 dogs in a small village in West Sussex and enjoys competing in dog agility. This is what introduced her to the world of canine massage and its importance not only in sport preparation but also for elderly dogs who may have either retired from a sporting career or are finding movement more restricting in their later years.
She has also had the pleasure of teaching agility to numerous students, of varying ages and from all walks of life, for the past 6 years and judging at Kennel Club competitions for the past 2 years.
Cost
Initial treatment £45.00
Follow up session/maintenance session £40.00
Client Comments
Shanice handled Luka perfectly, taking time and understanding Luka’s reactions. He seemed more comfortable after the second treatment and definitely benefitted from it. Overall it has really helped and without a doubt I would recommend.

Shanice was really good with Envy and respected her limitations, she listened to her, read her body language when she wasn’t sure but remained kind and reassuring with her which was really important to us both after a previous negative experience. She highlighted a couple of little strains in Envy’s back which correlated with her fast tiring and then reluctance with weaving and this has now vastly improved! I honestly can’t thank Shanice enough for her care, her patience, sharing her knowledge explaining what she’s doing and why.

After the second visit Charlie found it easier to walk up stairs, he generally looked more comfortable when walking and even managed a jog whilst on his walk. I thought this treatment was perfect for Charlie and also helpful for myself to understand where his pain was and where he was sore.
I would highly recommend canine massage therapy, and would also recommend Shanice as a compassionate, kind, caring massage therapist.
