About the therapist
Hello! My name is Su Clark, and I run Su Clark Canine Massage based in Twickenham, offering a home visit service covering the surrounding area.
I live with my two rescue dogs, Eddie and Oscar, and it was seeing first hand the excellent results achieved by massage therapy in providing pain management for Eddie’s osteoarthritis that inspired my journey to become a Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner.
I was awarded a diploma with distinction in Canine Anatomy & Physiology in 2023 and since then I have studied for 2 years and have completed over 1200 hours of learning with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre, becoming a Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner in 2025. I treat my canine clients using a combination of various disciplines of massage: Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue, Myofascial Release and the bespoke Lenton Method®. Evidence based research on the Lenton Method® has been published in the Vet Record
Through Clinical Canine Massage, I can help your dog in several ways:
● improve mobility and posture
● relieve pain and discomfort
● rehabilitate soft tissue / muscular injuries
● promote psychological well being
● allow your dog to return to usual activities of daily living
Each treatment will be tailored to your dog to suit their needs and capabilities. By treating your dog in their home environment this allows them to relax in familiar surroundings and get the most from their treatments. This is a powerful therapy and is suitable for all dogs regardless of their breed or age. Results are often seen in 1-3 sessions.
I am fully insured. For more information please visit my website or contact me to discuss how your dog could benefit from Clinical Canine Massage.

Client Comments
Alfie struggled with climbing stairs, he had stiffness when standing and after long walks. Following the second treatment when Su concentrated on his neck, shoulders and front legs Alfie’s movement was much freer and he climbed onto the sofa without help. After the final treatment he went up the stairs for a cheeky nap on the bed which he hasn’t been able to do for quite some time.
After Alfie’s massage treatments my feelings are very positive and I would recommend Canine Massage particularly if your dog is recovering from injury.

Dylan is an older dog who is going blind and struggles with stairs and to walk at times. Some days are better than others.
Su took it really slowly and reassured him throughout. He gradually relaxed and allowed her to use different treatment positions. He even appeared to be enjoying it. Su set the environment well for him with comfortable matting and relaxing music frequencies. She also has a very soft calm approach with her voice and slow reassuring movements during treatment.
After the first session Dylan suddenly ran up the stairs to our first floor – this is something he hasn’t done for over a year, I was shocked! I also noticed after each session he started running on our walks together more often and a bit faster.
I think the treatment is really worthwhile.

Stanley had slowed down considerably on walks and struggles going up stairs due to back leg stiffness. He was unsure about massage at first since he isn’t keen on being touched much but he soon relaxed and appeared happy to have treatment, even falling asleep during it more than once!
Su was brilliant. She was calm, empathetic towards Stan and very careful and considered. She took into account if Stan appeared uncomfortable and adjusted accordingly, She explained everything to me about what she was doing and why.
I felt that Stan really benefited from his treatments and I would definitely recommend Canine Massage, and especially Su!
Emma & Stanley (Basset Fauve de Bretagne, 8 years old)
Su was excellent, she was empathetic and kind taking her time to get to know Bailey. After the second session Bailey was much happier and confident. He did zoomies around the house for the first time since his leg injury around 1 year ago.
I am very happy with Bailey’s treatment and definitely would recommend Canine Massage Therapy to friends and family.
