About the therapist
I am Tracey McElroy-Baker, owner of The Clinical Canine Massage Company based in Stourbridge. I have completed the 2-year Clinical Canine Massage Practitioner Programme, which is a training course, externally accredited by LANTRA, integrating 4 disciplines of massage; Swedish, sports, deep tissue, myofascial release and the Lenton Method™, which is a unique method of myofascial release with advanced canine anatomy and physiology.
Clinical canine massage can help to rehabilitate your dog’s soft tissue and muscular injuries as well as supporting chronic orthopaedic issues such as arthritis or hip dysplasia. It can also help to relieve and manage pain. Your dog will receive an in-depth consultation prior to treatment to help me to formulate a treatment plan to suit their needs.
Clients can attend my clinic, or a home visit can be arranged if preferable. Travel charges may apply.
Cost
Initial Consultation – £75
Follow-up session – £45
Client Comments
Ted’s stroke affected his rear legs, and his gait is very wobbly. After the second session, both me and my husband noticed an improvement in how Ted held his back legs. His control has improved, and he doesn’t fall over or bang into things as much.
Ted – Working Cocker Spaniel
I noticed that she was definitely more comfortable and really relaxed after both sessions. Ruby has been grieving for the loss of her previous owner and it’s been really good for Ruby to have some pampering. She’s excited to go to the sessions, which says a lot.
Ruby – Bernese Mountain Dog
I was worried that my dog would be too anxious for massage, but Minnie loved it! Tracey was so patient and gentle with her and completely relaxed her. She understood her anxieties and gave her plenty of time and encouragement. Minnie grew to trust her completely. She loves Tracey now and looks forward to the sessions.
Minnie – Border Terrier/Pug Cross breed
